Petro Price Stays until 2009 Q1

This definitely is a relief for many of us, I’m expecting the other jump on this August.

Effective 5th June, petro price increased 40% to RM2.70. The market has responded badly from the adjustment, especially the KLCI was dropped nearly 40 point on the next day.

A lot of people will not survive at the high oil price, our infrastructures are not ready for alternative rather than we need to drive.

Come back to this, it seems no way we could enjoy petro price at RM1.92, but at least for a short period of time our spending power will not effected badly. This is quite sad to many of us as an average earner.

Conclusion, before we need to face the real oil price, please continues to expand your collection. Until the day arrive, you really “can see can not buy”. YeoCP//

Featured Car: Tomica vs Matchbox Hummer H2

This is the other head to head comparison, this round is Matchbox againts Tomica. No doubt Matchbox does produced good cars, but in this comparison Tomica still won with its quality finishing.

Both cars are different in scale, but it is not difficult to notice Tomica puts more efforts in producing H2, the Tomica is produced with finer trim.

If you already have Tomica H2, you may consider include Matchbox H2 to complete your collection. YeoCP//

Featured Collector: Chris Ting

I never know Chris Ting collect toy cars until I showed him my blog, before that he is recognized as professional photographer.

He has over 20 cameras in his collections, from antique analog cameras to today high end Nikon cameras. He is appointed as official photographer for all company events held in his local office.

Petro Price at RM2.70, what should I do?

No doubt everyone has just gone poorer with the new petro price, for every liter I filled, I’m poorer by 40%.

Obviously I need to adjust my portfolio to adapt to new situation. With wallet size shrank by 40%, some cars will no longer in my hunting list.

New Hunting List effective after 5th June 2008
Hotwheels
- T-Hunt and Super T-Hunt
- Ferrari Cars
- Exotics Cars (Maybe not)

Tomica
- Real Nice Cars (With better wheels)
- Discontinued Models (Number replaced by new models, but it has to be nice cars)

Matchbox
- Collectible Items (e.g. 55 years anniversary double decker bus)

Choro-Q and Jada Toys
- Maybe will drop from the list

If petro price further increase this August, my list will become further shorter, or maybe only focus in one range of collection, we shall see what will happen this quarter 3. YeoCP//
